Compliance, Vetting and Risk

Business registration, importer of record, payment channel, and responsibility matrix.

Evidence-first answers to the questions buyers actually ask.

Cuba-bound buyers need verifiable evidence, not marketing claims. This page answers the common vetting questions and states our responsibility boundaries. Nothing here is legal advice.

Do you have import/export qualifications?

Our China team handles export-side coordination; our Cuban team handles import-side coordination. Exact registration numbers and documents are shared during business vetting.

Who is the importer of record in Cuba?

Our Cuban partner entity. Detailed roles are defined per shipment after licence feasibility is confirmed.

What payment channel is used?

Only compliant third-country payment arrangements, confirmed by both parties before booking. CoExpys does not evade sanctions, hold funds on behalf of third parties, or operate informal exchange.

What happens if customs rejects the cargo?

Responsibility is split by stage: sourcing/inspection issues are handled by our China team; licence/clearance documentation issues by our Cuban team. The responsibility matrix is agreed in the service contract.

How are disputes handled?

Per contract: documented evidence, inspection reports, and agreed liability thresholds before any claim.
