Building materials category · China to Cuba
Construction cement is a building-materials line for hardware importers and ready-mix suppliers. Grade and bag weight are agreed per order.
Category description
We supply Portland cement from mills in Shandong, Hebei, Guangdong and Guangxi for hardware importers and ready-mix plants. Cement is the classic heavy, low-value cargo — the freight rate per tonne dominates the landed cost, and the pack format changes the loading plan completely. We agree the grade, the bag weight and whether you want bagged or bulk, confirm the mill quality certificate against the contract limits, and check the production date and the moisture condition of the sampled bags at inspection, because cement that has absorbed humidity loses strength and cannot be sold.
Every shipment is quoted against a confirmed specification, packed to the format agreed for your channel, and documented so the Cuban side can clear it without guesswork.

Shipment handling
50 kg woven polypropylene bags on pallets, or bulk cement in bulkers where the volume justifies it. Each pallet is marked with the mill, grade and production date.
Bag, tonne, or FCL 20ft / 40ft. Bagged and bulk shipments are quoted separately.
A 20ft container carries approximately 2,000–2,500 fifty-kilogram bags, about 100–125 MT — heavy cargo, so the loading plan is agreed with the carrier in advance.
Production date and shelf-life check on the sampled bags, moisture condition and bag integrity inspection, bag weight check, and verification against the mill quality certificate.
Certificate of origin and the mill quality certificate. The grade and pack weight on the licence must match the contract and the packing list.
Clearance pack
Our Cuban team checks the licence description against the contract before loading, so the paperwork on arrival matches what the licence says.
