Category description

How CoExpys handles Pasta

We source dried pasta from mills in Hebei, Shandong and Jiangsu that work with durum wheat, and pack in the format that fits your channel: vacuum-packed retail bags inside cartons, or larger food-service cartons for institutional buyers. Protein and gluten content are the reference numbers for pasta quality, and they are written into the contract and confirmed on the mill sample. Where the destination requires it, the pasta is packed with the ingredient list and allergen statement rendered in the required language before the cartons are closed.

Every shipment is quoted against a confirmed specification, packed to the format agreed for your channel, and documented so the Cuban side can clear it without guesswork.

Shipment handling

Packing, loading, inspection and clearance

Typical packing

5 kg vacuum bags packed inside export cartons for retail distribution, or 25 kg cartons for food-service and institutional supply. Cartons are palletised and export-marked with lot code.

Enquiry units

Bag, carton, or FCL 20ft / 40ft. Loading is planned against the confirmed carton dimensions.

Container plan

Container loading is calculated from the confirmed carton format and pallet pattern, then fixed at the time of booking so the plan and the freight quote agree.

Inspection focus

Protein and moisture check against the mill certificate, pasta breakage and colour inspection through the sample, seal integrity on vacuum bags, and carton marking verification.

Clearance notes

Phytosanitary certificate, certificate of origin, and the mill quality certificate. Ingredient list and allergen statement must match the licence description and the label language required on the Cuban side.
