Category description
We supply food-grade refined salt and industrial salt from producers in Inner Mongolia, Jiangsu and Tianjin. Salt has almost no shelf life constraint — the real risks are moisture pickup and packaging failure, so the specification concentrates on water content and NaCl purity, and we verify the liner seal on every bag. Salt is a heavy, low-value cargo, which makes freight efficiency the main commercial lever, so loading plans are optimised for the confirmed bag weight rather than bag count.
Every shipment is quoted against a confirmed specification, packed to the format agreed for your channel, and documented so the Cuban side can clear it without guesswork.
Technical specification
Reference values for shipments on the China-to-Cuba route. Final limits are written into the purchase contract for each order.
Shipment handling
25 kg or 50 kg woven polypropylene bags with a sealed inner liner, on pallets, protected from moisture and handled only in dry conditions from filling to stuffing.
Bag, tonne, or FCL 20ft / 40ft. Loaded by confirmed net weight.
A 20ft container holds approximately 800–1,000 bags depending on the confirmed bag weight, giving roughly 25–50 MT per container. Heavy-cargo stowage is planned with the carrier.
NaCl purity and moisture check against the producer certificate, sealed-liner inspection on the sampled bags, and verification that pallet stretch wrap is intact with no signs of moisture ingress.
Certificate of origin, producer quality certificate, and any disinfection certificate the destination requires for the packing material. Grade and packing on the licence must match the contract.
Clearance pack
Our Cuban team checks the licence description against the contract before loading, so the paperwork on arrival matches what the licence says.
